Changes For 2009 Season For The Vento

I will update this thread as much as possible during the makeover of the car. I have some cool idea's for the car so stay tuned for all the info and pictures on the build.

Vento goes in my garage this weekend to get stripped down. Pics coming soon!!! Let the madness begin

Got my garage cleaned out, and am hopefully going to get the car in there this weekend to get the motor out of it and then start to take interior out. Will try and get some pics up of the changes that I am doing to the car for the season.

I know I know. I am slacking LOL.. It is in the garage and I am starting most of the exterior and motor tear down thursday,friday, sat, sun so I will post some pics def by this weekend of the progress. Took me a lot longer than I thought to clean out my garage and re organize it from redoing my bathroom. It was really f'd up!!

Alright so I finally got started on the car this past weekend and got the whole front end off the car and removed all the Evap stuff and A/C stuff from the car and started to clean up the frame rails and get a game plan for tucking some wires and deleting as much as possible for my poor mans shaved engine bay. It wont be bling like the ballers out there but atleast I will get rid of the clutter. So here are just 2 pics of what I got right now.

Pic of the driver side frame rail which needs alot of work because of the harness ect ect. And a pic of where I am going to try and put the harness in the fender. More to come.

Here are the frame rails now ready to start grinding and shaving. More to come tommorow.

Ok so today I took the whole interior out. Getting ready for new carpet kit whole vento dash/center console, steering wheel. new red and black suede going in the car. Here are some pics.







I had to remove the rain try to get to the last 2 nuts to remove the dashboard. While I have it out I am going to tuck part of the harness in the raintray also put the coil in there ect ect.

Thanks guys. I finally got most of the harness in the rain tray along with moving the coil in the rain tray. Now I have to extend some wires to get the big harness in the frame rail. once I figure all the wiring out I will get to start to grind the junk off the frame rails and start to add metal to the holes and start smoothing out the bay with filler and evercoat then sand sand sand then prime,paint & clear and I should be done with the bay!!!

Ok so today I pretty much am done with the wire tuck. And finally got to move on to grinding the factory seam sealer off of the frame. Here are a couple of pics.
